Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with our design and development teams to bring our clients’ visions to life. You will leverage your expertise in WordPress development to create custom themes, plugins, and features that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on client specifications and design mockups.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to add new features and functionality as needed.
- Develop custom plugins and modules to extend the functionality of WordPress websites.
- Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, APIs, and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
